Questions, answered

Straight answers.

What does StatAxis measure?

Public YouTube data: live viewers, views, likes, comments and subscribers, each with the time it was observed. It never claims to know who watched or why.

How often does it refresh?

Channels are read about every two hours and live streams every minute. The live compare screen refreshes itself every 15 seconds.

What does confidence mean?

It says how much evidence stands behind a figure. A thin sample carries a low confidence and is tagged preliminary, so a small base cannot pass for a certainty.

Can I take the data out?

Reports download as branded PDFs that people can read but scripts cannot. Machine-readable exports are a privilege your package or administrator switches on.

Do you show who the audience is?

Only where it was supplied, with its source and date: age bands, gender and states, in percentages. Where it was not supplied the screen says so.

Which platforms are covered?

YouTube today. Instagram and Facebook are planned for January 2027, X during 2027 and connected TV by July 2027.
