From a live stream to a decision: the eight steps behind every StatAxis finding

A finding is not an opinion. It is a rule applied to measured numbers. Here is the path every one takes.

Most dashboards stop at the chart. StatAxis continues until there is a sentence a person can act on, then shows its working. Eight steps, none optional.

1. Collect

Public YouTube data about every two hours; live streams every minute. Every measurement keeps its timestamp.

2. Verify

Integrity checks, then the authenticity radar. Flags are shown, not hidden.

3. Measure

Counts become weekly views, prime-time audience, the STX Index and the IFX Score.

4. Find

Rules over the measures produce findings: this channel took 36% of new-video views in its group. Each carries its numbers and a confidence.

A finding says what the data shows. It never says why.

5. Brief

The same findings, written for five readers: media company, buyer, campaign, creator, audience.

6. Report

A branded PDF: findings, then tables, then method. Readable by people, not by scripts.

7. Act

Each finding links to the tool that acts on it: planner, audience, radar, report builder.

8. Learn

A reviewer’s decision on a flag is kept and shapes the next report.

Where data is too thin for a finding, the brief says so. Nothing is estimated to fill the page.

The rule

If a number cannot show its working, it is a rumour with a chart.
